Hot Air Balloon + Lion Rock Summit
4.45am. Balloon flight over the Cultural Triangle — champagne at altitude. Sigiriya Rock ascent before the crowds. Afternoon: Polonnaruwa by bicycle — the medieval capital explored on two wheels with a private guide.

White-Water Rafting
Drive to Kithulgala, Sri Lanka's white-water capital. A full-morning rafting session on the Kelani River's Class 3-4 rapids with a certified guide. Lunch at the colonial riverside resthouse. Drive south to Ella — 98 Acres Resort.

Whale Watching
5.30am departure to Mirissa harbour. Blue whale watching boat in the deep-water channel. Return by 10.30am. Drive west to Galle Fort. Amangalla or Fort Bazaar arrival.
